6th Grade Day-Tuesday, September 3
Welcome to the First Week of School!
We’re excited to kick off the school year at Charles Boehm Middle School! Monday, September 3rd, is a special day just for our 6th-grade students. We’ll be dedicating the day to helping them get to know our beautiful, newly renovated building. From guided tours to hands-on time with lockers, we’ll ensure they feel confident navigating their new school. Students will also learn all the daily procedures needed to succeed at Boehm. Most importantly, we’ll focus on building strong relationships as they start this exciting new chapter!
Throughout the first week students and staff will focus on relationship building as we know that is the foundation to a successful year. Students will also be acclimated to our School-Wide Positive Behavior Support Program or as we call it, our Boehm PRIDE Program. PRIDE stands for Prepared, Respectful, Involved, Determined, and Excellent. Students will work with their teachers on how they can show their Boehm PRIDE throughout the entire building. This includes the classroom, the halls, the restrooms, the gym, the bus, the cafeteria, and many other new spaces we have throughout the building! This will culminate with our Boehm PRIDE Kick-Off Assembly! We are so excited to meet all of our new 6th grade students. Below is the schedule for the first day of school!
*Students are welcome to bring a small snack as lunch is a little bit later on this day.
All Students Report-September 4th

Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures-Very Important
Picking Up Your Students from Sports or Clubs
Students are welcome to participate in intramurals, clubs, and sports!
- PIAA Sports-Students in 7th and 8th-grade need a PIAA physical form in order to participate in school-sponsored sports.
- Clubs/Intramurals-Any student is welcome to participate in a club or intramural. These happen throughout the year based on student interest and staff schedules. Clubs and intramurals will be shared on our morning announcements. They will also be posted on our Daily Announcement slide show that can be found via our school website. Students must have a signed permission slip in order to participate in a club or intramural.
- Students can take a late bus home. On Tuesday and Thursday we have a 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM late bus. This will be determined by the club facilitator. Most sports teams practice until 5:00 PM. Coaches will communicate practice and game schedules. Please review the late bus run information below. Just a reminder, that the stop may not be the same stop that they would typically take in the AM or PM.

Where do students report to on the first day?
Due to the construction, room numbers have changed. Students should know their homeroom teacher's name and room number. We advise that they write them down and when they enter the building, staff members will direct them to the correct homeroom.
