Carolina Springs Elementary

A Message from Mr. Brown
Hello Husky Families,
As we enter the last month of the school year I want to thank you for all of your support for this year. This is truly an amazing community with awesome children. This year your children have excelled and I am so proud of their accomplishments.
I will continue to write about this throughout the month, but the end of this school year will be very bittersweet. With the opening of South Lake Elementary, we will be saying goodbye to many students and families and teachers that have made this school community the wonderful place that it has been for a long time. I know that students and staff heading to SLES will do incredible things at the new school and we will continue the great things here, but Carolina Springs has been built on our tremendous relationships with each other and saying goodbye to both students and adults we truly care about is difficult.
This month we have many wonderful events to close out the school year including 5th grade Promotion Ceremony, Student Led Conferences and Field Day.
Please take a look at the flyers below to make sure you are in the know of all of the happenings over the last few weeks of school.
Keep being Heroes Huskies!

CSES 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony
5th Grade Promotion Ceremony
We are excited about our upcoming 5th grade Promotion ceremony. Please see the flyer above for more details. Also, please complete the Pre-Registration link for a Visitor’s Badge for the ceremony. As you know, safety is our number one goal as a school, and we need each adult who attends the event to have a badge. We will preprint visitors badges for all who pre-register to help the process go as smoothly as possible. If you do not complete the link you will have to stop at the Main Office and scan your ID the morning of the event. Please complete this form by May 16, 2024.
Summer Reading
Huskies, check out these opportunities and resources to help you keep reading over the summer! Click here to view the flyer.
Student Led Conferences
Student Led Conferences
Students have been working hard, preparing for end of the year assessments across the school. We are so proud of them! Students are also very excited about their work and they want to share their progress with you. We will host parents to meet with their children in student led conferences the week of May 13th. Look for messages from your child’s teacher about times on the following dates:
May 13: 5K/1st grade
May 14: 2nd grade/3rd grade
May 16: 4th grade/5th grade
May 21: 4K
With the hope that each child will have an adult attend as they share their progress, we want to be as efficient as possible with the signing-in process. For safety reasons each person who enters CSES must have a visitors badge. To preregister for a Visitors Badge, please complete this form by May 10, 2024. If you do not complete this form to pre-register you will need to check in and scan your ID in the main office.
