Kinder-5th Grade Family Conferences - Sept. 23-27
Conference Week is 1:15pm Dismissal ALL WEEK Long!
Bookfair will be set up in the Library all week!
Family conferences with teachers are important because they foster strong communication between home and school, allowing parents and teachers to collaborate on a child's progress, address any concerns, and support the student's overall development. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity to build a partnership that enhances the child's learning experience and helps ensure their success both academically and socially

Birthday Shout Outs!
Perdew Elementary School has implemented a “no food items” approach to celebrating birthdays within the school day. Teachers will acknowledge birthdays in a special way such as a birthday crown, singing happy birthday, allowing a child to share a special book with the class, etc.
You are more than welcome to bring in non-food birthday celebrations items that can easily be distributed at the end of class.
Reasons for this change include health concerns and loss of instructional time. Many of our students have health concerns related to food, including allergies, obesity, diabetes, and sensitivities to dyes.
Thank you for supporting us in our efforts to keep students healthy and maximize learning time at school.
Food Items = NO!
