Get to Know...New Materials
at Murray State University Libraries
Our April calendar is packed! Spring Games Week is happening now, Spring Scholars Week 2024 is coming up April 15-19, and the Library Book Sale will take place 9am - 3pm April 17, 18, and 19. Plus the Murray Bank Ice Cream Machine will be parked in front of Waterfield on April 16! To see more upcoming events, check out our calendar.
New Materials - March 2024
Our New Materials Collection has been populated with the new physical titles we acquired last month. To find this collection from our homepage, go to the Research & Collections dropdown and select Textbooks & More. This will take you to our Collections main page (check out our other collections while you're there!). Some items may also be available online; it depends on whether or not the item may also be part of an eBook collection that we subscribe to, for example. Many of our new physical books make their library debut on our New Materials Shelf located near the Waterfield Library Circulation Desk. If a book is on this shelf, the online catalog record will indicate it as such.

How to Request New Materials
Have a suggestion for us for a new book or other resource? Well, we have a form for you! Complete and submit our Resource Recommender Form and we will review it. Purchases are not guaranteed due to budgetary and collection development considerations, but we do want to hear what you're interested in seeing added to our holdings. This form is also available in two places on our homepage: the How to... dropdown on the top navigation bar and the New Materials section on the bottom left area of the page.

Turn around, bright eyes - and get those eclipse glasses ready! Have a great weekend, Racers.
