The Sequoit Weekly
Week of November 24th
Message From Mike
Dear Families,
Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. I have quite a few childhood memories of a huge table filled with my favorite foods and the sounds of laughter from the many aunts, uncles, and cousins gathered together. Before we ate, we had to go around the table and say what we were thankful for and this was one of the first places where I learned the importance of expressing gratitude to those in our lives.
I wish you and your loved ones a joyful Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. May your holiday season be full of warmth and gratitude.
Mike

Infinite Campus Tips (NEW)
Senior families - prepare for the upcoming FAFSA (NEW)
Seniors can prepare to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) when it opens on December 1st by creating a student account at studentaid.gov. After a student creates their account and starts the FAFSA, they will be able to invite parents to link IRS data and submit additional information. Parents can create their accounts in advance as well, but our experience has been that it is easiest for students to first complete their portion of the FAFSA and then send a request to their parents.

The Cardinal Crazy Mascot (NEW)
On Friday, we had the grand reveal of our new mascot, the Cardinal Crazy. We are still the Sequoits but the mascot will add to creating good times at athletic and other special events at ACHS. It will be similar to how the Philly Fanatic interacts with the crowd at Philadelphia Phillies games. We are so very thankful to our booster club, Sequoit Pride, for funding the mascot costume.
