Come Celebrate Poetry Month with Caldera’s first Slam Poetry And Open Mic Night. This event will be April 30th at 4:30 in the Media Center. Come support students and watch slam poetry with baked goods from Sparrow Bakery raising money for Suicide Prevention for the nonprofit Youth Helpline. If you're interested in presenting a poem, email Mrs. Wolford a copy of your poem.

"National Honor Society, Volleyball, and Softball."

"My favorite class is Sports Medicine because I'm really interested in the subject."

Where are you from?
"I grew up in Boise, Idaho."
What are your experiences as an educator or just in life?
"This is my 9th year teaching. I spent 4 years at Mountain View, 4 years at various middle schools, and this is my 1st year at Caldera and back in high school. I LOVE IT!"
Fun or random facts!
"My middle son and I are training for the Timberline Marathon on June 8th."
What do you love about teaching?
"I love learning science with my students and watching my students grow into amazing humans."

"I have the BEST family. They are absolutely crazy and they make me laugh. We love to adventure together."

"My oldest son just got engaged!"
Club Happenings at CHS
Art Club- Art Club is currently working on several projects: a little lending art gallery (similar to a little lending library), artwork for the spring production of Mary Poppins, as well as a few school beautification projects. We meet Thursday during Flex Time. Art Club meets Thursday during Flex in 2D Art, please contact Ms. Reynolds for more information
DECA-DECA/National Business Honor Society: usually meets Tuesdays at Flex. We are going to the DECA international competition with 7 members at the end of the month! Officers for 2024-25 have been elected and will begin transitioning into their new roles mid-May. New members are always welcome. Please contact Mrs. Tucker for more information
Jazz Band Club-Every Friday during Flex time in the Band Room. See Mr. Hymans for details.
Caldera Family Organization
- Register for the Grad Party-All graduating seniors are invited to this free event! Our graduates will enjoy a fun-filled day of swimming, ropes course, go-karts, sports courts, zip lining and MORE! We would love to have all of our graduates attend and celebrate their accomplishments.

- Washington Family Ranch view some of the fun here
- Bus departs at 7:30 am-Returns approximately 9:00 pm
- Includes: three meals, snacks, all activities, prizes

- Senior Sunset-The Class of 2024 began the year with a Senior Sunrise event, welcoming the new school year with a sunrise celebration to kick off this historic year. Senior Sunset is the bookend event. Students will have a fun celebration at the stadium to watch the sunset, enjoy snacks and music, take photos with friends, watch a slideshow and have a great time as a class.
- The Senior Class would like to show a Then vs Now video featuring each senior's baby picture and a senior picture.Please submit photos using this link. Pictures are due May 30. The Senior Sunrise event is Wednesday, June 5th from 8:00-9:30 pm (Sunset is at 8:45 pm).
- Yard Sign Pick Up- For all those who purchased Senior yard signs. These will be available for pick up at the following times:
- Monday, April 29th 3:45-4:15 pm
- Tuesday, April 30th 3:45-4:15 pm
- Wednesday, May 1 2:15-3:30 pm
- Thursday, May 2 8:15-8:45 am
- ***pick up will be at the West Entrance. Students are allowed to pick them up.
- There will be a limited quantity for purchase at the above times as well for those who missed the online sales and would still like to purchase one. Posters with yard stakes are $25.
