Duniway Podcasts about Love
Duniway opened its professional-grade podcast studio last spring, and students started producing a series called This Week at Duniway that covered school news and more.
This year, students have been recording interviews with teachers, using the studio to enhance coding class projects and more. The latest project is a pre-Valentine's Day series called Lost in Love.
Hosted by eighth graders Zander Park (far right) and Jazzen Heroxandrei Avila (far left), the Lost in Love podcasts are edited by Aaliyah Brooks (second from left) with music support provided by Addison Eglinton. Other students involved include Haley Anderson, Sofia Manriquez, Lucy Alfonso and Evelyn Berg. All the students perform a variety of tasks – including scriptwriting, scheduling, interviewing and more – to produce the podcasts. The students hope to have the six-part series completed by Feb. 13.
The studio was a gift from the Traveling Light Foundation. Find the podcasts here.
