5TH GRADE SUCKER SALE AFTER SCHOOL
5th grade will be having a sucker sale on Wednesday after school. Suckers will be sold in front of the office for 15 minutes after school. Each sucker is $1.00. 100% of the proceeds will go back to the 5th grade account. They will be having some great final year t-shirts created and will be having some events that will make for an incredible end to the year. The students will also have the chance to give a legacy gift to Richmond. To help with the cost of everything, our 5th grade students hold a sucker sale once per month

OUR COMMUNITY READ - THE WILD ROBOT
TAKE QUIZ 4 THIS WEEK
Read pages 164 - 215 and then take the Quiz! Complete by Next Thursday
Take the week 2 The Wild Robot Quiz! If you have read pages 164 - 215 of the book, you can answer the quiz questions for your chance to win your very own robot. Ok, it is a 2-inch, rubber robot, but it is still a robot! There are 10 different robot designs to choose from. I will be pick 6-8 winners per week from the people who complete the quiz. If you have more than one student in your household, have each of your kids complete the quiz for their chance to win. Winners will be announced every Friday.
Chartwells came to Richmond this week to offer a healthy treat to our students at lunch. They wanted families to have the recipe so you could make it at home. Here is a copy of the recipe if you would like to try it for a family night snack.
PUT IT ON THE CALENDAR - THE WILD ROBOT MOVIE NIGHT DECEMBER 12th
Keep the date on the calendar. We plan to have a movie night at Richmond on Thursday, December 12th at 6:00 PM. We will have spent weeks reading the book and now we can come together to watch the movie.
