Specialist Spotlight - CounSEL with Mrs. Haynes
In CounSEL, students have been participating in their Safety Units in which they learn important lessons about personal safety. You can support your child's learning at home by having a discussion about their safety lessons. Kindergarteners through 3rd Graders have learned the "Eight Never Nevers" which are highlighted in this catchy song. Ask your child how many of the "Eight Never Nevers" they can recall! Students K-3 will also learn the "3 Rs" for staying safe which are explained in this song. To support learning for 4th-6th graders, ask your child to identify 3 safe adults they can turn to for help if they face a safety dilemma. If you have any questions regarding the rest of the Safety Unit, please reach out to Mrs. Haynes.
Wildcat Workers - Support our School!
Wildcat Workers come to the school each week on Wednesdays and Fridays to help our teachers and staff behind the scenes. We prep classroom projects, laminate, set up bulletin boards, organize Friday Folders, and take care of other tasks as requested. Most days we work 8:05-9:30am. We appreciate any time you can give. If you can help on Wednesdays and Fridays, great! But if you can only help on one of those days we appreciate that, too. We understand that our volunteers might not be available every week. Thank you for signing up here!
