Message from Mrs. Hamsher
Brief Message From the Principal
Our students were super excited to host our Grandparents/Special Person at lunch this past month. We want to thank everyone who came and we appreciated the patience with our safety check-in procedures. As fall continues, and the weather starts to change please, remember to send appropriate clothing/jackets for your kiddos. We will be going outside as much as possible for recess.
Mrs. Paz and I have been working hard to visit every classroom during the month of October. She is conducting minute meetings with students, which was implemented as part of our district-wide Whole Child initiative. This is a one-on-one time utilized to get to know the student and build relationships with them. I have been reading and doing projects with the students focusing on happiness, sharing kindness with others, and getting to know each other better. In many of the classrooms I have been able to play a question and answer game with the kiddos where they can ask me questions to get to know me and I can return questions so that the other student and I can learn about them. I have learned that we have students who enjoy, baking sports, music, reading, family game time, physics, acting, and so much more! I am amazed everyday at the talents that are walking through our halls. Thank you all for embracing your child/children's interests and passions.
