
WASHINGTON D.C. TRIP REGISTRATION

WASHINGTON DC TRIP IS MARCH 11TH-14TH (TUESDAY-FRIDAY)
Attention CHS 8th Grade Parents,
You can now register for the 8th Grade Washington DC Trip. The registration deadline is Sunday, October 27th.
All student travelers need to have submitted a completed Overnight Field Trip Permission Form (tab below) and Behavior Contract (tab below) to the main office. Hard copies are available in the office.
Chaperones can also register at this time. Before you rush to the keyboard let’s take a moment to reflect.
All adults interested in chaperoning must travel with us for the entire trip - no escaping.
Adults will be assigned students to keep track of (attendance) - “Where is Kyle?”
Adults are required to follow the travel schedule we provide - no going rogue.
If this sounds like a dream come true, feel free to register on the same website you register your child.
All adults must register as “double occupancy” $1250. Adults will share a room with another chaperone. If you would like a private room please select “single occupancy” $1550. If you want to room with your child, both would need to pay for “double occupancy” $1250 each.
Please complete the applicable forms below:
- Criminal History Form (chaperones only and return to the main office)
- Chaperone Guidelines Form (chaperones only and return to the main office)
- Trip Registration and Flyer (registration link can be found in the flyer)
- Washington DC Behavior/Attendance Contract (must be signed by student and parent and returned to the main office)
- Required Trip Protection Google Form
- Authorization to Administer Medication Form (if applicable)
Please remember that the Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) insurance is required - check the box during online registration. You have to complete the Trip Protection Plan Google Form below, in addition to noting it during registration.
You are also invited to attend our Washington DC Trip Informational Meeting following Curriculum NIght on Monday, September 16th in the main gym.
Lastly, please note that this is a student based trip and if the buses fill up, priority will be given to student travelers and some adults will be refunded.
