EJMS Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful week! We have a busy week coming up so please check out the important dates.

Midterms Available and Accessing Grades through IC Parent Portal

The first Nine Weeks Midterm grade reports will be available through Parent Portal on Friday, September 20th. Do you need help with Infinite Campus Parent Portal? Don’t know how to check on your child’s grades? Check out this IC Parent Portal Grades Doc for help.

EJMS Tailgate - Wednesday, September 18th

Join us for a tailgate before the East-West football game. Gate opens at 5:00 and the game begins at 6:00. There will be free hot dogs and water, games available to play, and items on sale will include: spirit dots, Jaguar lemonade, and Snowie Ice.

Student Behavior Expectations:

Students must remain in permitted areas only: football stadium, concessions/bathroom area, tailgate area for PTO sponsored games and food
Students must not bring other balls to play games of “pick up”
Students should behave in an appropriate manner (no fighting, appropriate language, no PDA, etc)
Students may not re-enter the game if the leave the gates
Students must be ready for pick up by 8:30 PM at the latest
If you can not abide by these rules you will be asked to leave

Behavior Point System

We are approaching the time for each grade level to have a quarterly incentive reward. Students must have at least four out of a possible five points in order to attend reward days, field trips, and dances throughout the year. The graphic has additional details explaining how students can lose and earn points back.

DC Interest Meeting

EJMS National Junior Beta is looking for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who are passionate about service, leadership, achievement, and character. Junior Beta is a chance to share artistic and academic talents and skills as well as an opportunity for growing as student leaders through weekly chapter meetings, state and national conventions, and so much more. Find out more about joining Beta from one of our sponsors: Sheena Roller, Carrie Mahagan-Kinkade, and Victoria Grillo. All applications are due by Sept. 17.
