Hello JES Family,

I hope you are having an amazing summer break! Please join me in sending out a special welcome to our incoming Kinder and new to JES families! We are so glad that you are joining our family!

I've included several tidbits of information below about upcoming events, staffing, and beginning of the year. The office will be open beginning Monday, July 15, so please reach out if there is anything we can help you with!

I hope that you will be able to join us for an hour next Thursday evening at our Summer Gathering! This is designed as a time to hang out on the playground with our old friends and also a time to meet some new friends. Also, please don't forget to go into Skyward to complete the ASV (Annual Student Verification). This is required before we can release your student schedule (including teacher assignment) in Skyward. More information about both of these is included below.

I am so excited to be entering my third year at JES! I hope you know how much I love these kids, staff, and community! Thank you for the continued honor and opportunity you have given me to serve this beautiful community. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns, questions, or joys to share with me!

Alright JES, it’s been too long since we’ve all been together! If you are in town, grab the kids, lawn chairs, and a couple of water bottles and join us for a mid-summer get together out on the playground! Tin Roof Treats will also be there selling snow cones!

As a reminder, parents of all Carroll ISD students (including new enrollees) are required to complete the Annual Student Verification (ASV) for each of their students annually prior to the first day of school. This process is completed through the district's Skyward Family Access portal. Please log in to your Skyward Family Access account and complete the Verification process for each of your students as soon as possible.

You will have the option to pay the Course Fee for each of your students during the ASV process. This fee is used to help purchase additional supplies needed for our classrooms during the school year, including paper and other print materials that are not included in the school supply lists.

Please note, the ASV process must be complete prior to being able to view your child’s schedule or teacher assignment in Skyward, which will be available beginning at 4:00 pm on August 8.

Back on normal campus schedule Monday through Friday 7:30am - 3:20pm.
