BOOK FAIR STARTS MONDAY!
OCTOBER 21 - 26
ONCE UPON A BOOK FAIR...
School Book Fairs are one of those indelible memories of childhood and our volunteers go above and beyond to make it a special event here at Gullett. This year's theme is Fairy Tales and I, for one, can't wait to see the magic they have in store for us!
HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
WHEN WILL MY CHILD VISIT THE BOOK FAIR?
- Teachers will bring their classes to view/shop the book fair during their regularly scheduled library time.
- Wednesday is set aside for individual/small group student shopping. Volunteers and student council will be assisting grade level groups at specified times.
- Open shopping is available after school from 3:10 - 4:00 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
- The book fair will be open during C.A.T.C.H. Night on Wednesday 10/23 from 4:30 - 6:30.
- Last chance for shopping will be Saturday from 10:00-12:00. It's Saturday morning, so PJs are welcome!
- *Caregivers are welcome to shop during the school day but MUST CHECK IN AT THE OFFICE FIRST.
HOW DO YOU PAY?
We will accept cash, checks (made out to Gullett), and credit/debit cards, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SETTING UP A SCHOLASTIC E-WALLET.
As cute as it is to see a small child come to the register with a jar of pennies and wadded up pieces of paper that may or may not be actual currency - this slows everything down and creates headaches for everyone! Classes are on tight schedules during the school day, and I don't want my amazing volunteers to revolt.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE GULLETT LIBRARY!
