Happy Friday,

Thank you for celebrating us for Staff Appreciation Week! We enjoyed all of the sweet and salty treats, lunch, and raffles! We appreciate all that you do for us not only this past week but all year long. Have a great weekend and don't forget to register for next year!

Please remember to send your children with an extra layer next week (long sleeve shirt/sweatshirt) as the AC might be turned on and it gets rather chilly in our classrooms.

To our amazing OMS Volunteers....

There are not enough words to express how important you are to the students and staff of OMS. Every activity that you assist with requires you to give up your time... and you make that sacrifice not because you get paid, but because you care about the Olive community. The way you lead in service is a wonderful example for everyone to see, especially the students. You impact them now and in their future lives as they also will someday be in a position to choose to give of their time for no amount of money and often no amount of guaranteed gratitude. We want you all to know that you are treasured by us! The staff of OMS is so very full of appreciation for all that you do to help our Olive community be a great place for our students to learn in and grow. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

STEAM NIGHT - Free Little Library

The Free Little Library our OMS students built during STEAM Night with the help of the District 214 Building Trades students has been installed on the front of our school and is ready to be filled and enjoyed. If you have any books ready to pass along, help us fill our library by placing a few books inside.

At the May 9 Board meeting, a REVISED calendar for the 2023-2024 school year was approved. Please note the following changes. Please also note that the updated calendar has the word REVISED at the top in red:
