Veteran's Day Program
The Cadott Community School District would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our Veterans for their service to our country and for protecting our freedom. All Veterans and members of the Women’s Auxiliary are invited to a Veterans’ Day Program held at Cadott Jr/Sr High School on Monday, November 11 th at 10:00 AM. Coffee and refreshments will be served to Veterans and Auxiliary Members prior to the program, beginning at 9:30 am in the high school gym.
After the program, all Veterans and Auxiliary Members are invited to stay and eat lunch
with our students at the high school. If you plan on eating lunch please RSVP to Rhonda
Pederson by Friday, November 1st at (715) 289-3795, ext. 4500. We look forward to celebrating
with you!

Please turn in any veteran’s names and/or pictures to Mrs. Grossinger by Friday, November 8th.
We would like our students to dress in red, white and blue if possible for the Veteran’s program on November. 11th.

Recognizing Positive Behavior - The Power of Attention means "What we focus on we get more of"
Nolan - Mrs. Hanson recognized Nolan for positive behavior. Nolan has been a bucket filler in our room. He goes out of his way to be kind and helpful.
Paige - Mrs. Kotek recognized Paige for positive behavior. Paige is being recognized for her hard work with our 40 book challenge. She is always reading and she even works on her book reviews at home. Paige is always kind to others and wants to do her best!
Micha - Mrs. Hanson recognized Micha for positive behavior. Micha has been a bucket filler! He has been doing his job and has been a great classroom family member.
Kaylee - Mrs. Kotek recognized Kaylee for positive behavior. Kaylee is being recognized for working hard this year! She is making great gains in reading and math. She also took her time on her natural disaster project and it turned out great
Marcus - Mrs. Kotek recognized Marcus for positive behavior. Marcus is being recognized for his personality. He comes to school each day excited to learn. He is always kind to others and wants to make sure he is following the school rules.
Liam - Ms. Danielson recognized Liam for positive behavior. Liam is very helpful to other students. He is kind and patient with others. Often, he waits for someone if they are behind, so they aren't left alone.
Maci - Mrs. Hanson recognized Maci for being a bucket filler in her classroom! She has been working so hard to be kind and helpful to those around her.
Adam- Mrs. Alexander recognized Adam for positive behavior. Adam has set challenging goals for self improvement, and it shows. He as a strong level of self awareness, and manages his learning needs every day, while also being empathetic to the needs of others.
Nova - Mrs. Alexander recognized Nova for positive behavior. Nova has demonstrated a high level of responsibility in the classroom. She has worked to support not only her own learning needs, but also the needs of others in class. Her empathy and kindness towards others are demonstrated every day.
Awesome job choosing kind behavior and going above and beyond.

Attendance Line
Please remember that you must call the attendance hotline by 9:00 am each day your child is absent from school or if they will be leaving early (If you have not sent your child with a note). This allows office staff to keep up-to-date records of students’ absences on a daily basis. The hotline is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
The Attendance Hotline can be reached at 715-289-3795 Then dial 1 for Attendance and then 2 for Elementary Attendance. If at all possible, please use the attendance hotline when reporting an absence.

Cadott High School FBLA Chapter is hosting the annual Food Drive
Hello Cadott Community!
The Cadott High School FBLA Chapter is hosting the annual Food Drive. It will be held from November 18 to November 22. The elementary students will bring their nonperishable food items to their homeroom teacher, and the middle/high school students will bring their items to their advisory teacher. The Food Drive is also accepting cash donations.
Every five ramen noodle packages will count as one food item. The class with the most items will receive a root beer float party. All of the items will be donated to the local Cadott Food Pantry at the end of the week.

Time: 5:30 -8:00 p.m.
Please consider coming to Halfway Hall and celebrate the start of the wrestling season. Our high school athletes will be signing posters and handing out personalized playing cards to our youth. The Cadott Wrestling Club will be providing the meal. This is a great opportunity to get to know people, ask questions, and simply have fun!
Attention 6th grade students interested in joining junior wrestling!
Wrestling practice starts on November 18, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. in the high school wrestling room for student athletes who are in grades 6-12.
If your child is in 6th grade please send a note allowing your child to walk to the high school after school. Your child will also need to have an up-to-date physical and all required paperwork turned into the high school office before being allowed to participate. Student athletes are also required to take a Concussion Impact Test before practicing. Please follow the Cadott Hornets Wrestling Facebook page for Concussion Impact testing dates, times and place. Please send a note to the elementary school allowing your child to walk over to the high school on this day, if the date occurs before November 18th. Students can be picked up by the wrestling room after the testing is completed.

When: Sundays from 6:15-7:30. First Sunday will be November 3.

Please note that this open gym is NOT for middle school and high school students.

PACE Book Winners
P.A.C.E. has provided the library funding to purchase books for a weekly drawing. Each week one student from these grade levels will receive a free paperback book: 4K-K, 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6. The books can be picked up in the library from Mrs. Mackie. If you know someone involved with P.A.C.E., please thank them for all they do for our students here at Cadott Elementary.

What we do: We earn badges through fun learning activities and go on field trips throughout the year. A snack is included during each after school meeting.
