Dorothy's famous line from the Wizard of Oz is..."there's no place like home" and that's how many of our staff and families feel about TES. This year's school theme is "There's No Place Like TES!" Thank you to all of our staff in preparing for the 2023-2024 school year!

We are excited to welcome our new and returning students tomorrow! Tomorrow is a FULL day. Oncourse information was shared out on August 23, 2023 and our office has been working hard to assist families with logins, etc. If your child receives transportation, please check the bus AM and PM arrival times and bus stop locations. Bus route data was updated again due to new registrations and bus stops, so please double check. It is suggested to arrive 5-10minutes prior to scheduled times during the first week. Our Preschoolers and Kindergarten students are to wear their lanyards for our staff to assist them coming into school.

Breakfast Club
Staff will be at the entrance at 7:15am to allow students in to the cafeteria to purchase breakfast and get settled for the morning. Students arriving 7:45am or after may be let off the bus first to go the cafeteria. Students arriving from the pick up lane or walker door are to go immediately to the cafeteria.

Students may either pay at the time of purchase or have funds linked to their meal account using School Payment Portal. Directions can be found on the Virtual Backpack. All families should complete an Application for Free/Reduced Lunch regardless of anticipated determinations.

During arrival and dismissal, TES staff are located inside and outside the building to assist our students safely navigate the building. PLEASE assist our staff with dismissal procedures by communicating a consistent plan, especially for dismissal.

Notification of dismissal changes must be received prior to 1:30pm the day of the change. Dismissal changes are best communicated to the office directly. The office will not have a record of any PS communications sent to teachers during the day.

Tuckerton Elementary is a "walking school" district with courtesy bussing. Please review the designated entrances/exits and times pictured below. Families using the drop off lane for K-6 who have prek students, should park and wait if they intend to stay and wait for prek arrival.

Prek/K students with older siblings are to be picked up at the Prek/K times to ensure prompt dismissal and parent supervision. 1st - 6th grade students (walker/pickup) dismiss at 2:35pm.

1st - 6th parents may be asked to leave the lane if arriving early (2:20pm or earlier) to allow access for our prek/k families to minimize the wait time for our students. Those families picking up prek/k then waiting for 1st-6th will be asked to move forward in the lane.
