Call for Additional Nominations:
Fundraising Coordinator:
The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for organizing and executing fundraising initiatives that generate financial support for PTO programs and events. This position requires creativity, organization, and strong communication skills to engage families, local businesses, and the broader community in fundraising efforts.
Communications Coordinator:
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for managing and streamlining communication between the PTO and the school community. This role ensures that families stay informed and engaged through multiple platforms including social media, emails, and our website. This position requires someone organized, tech-savvy, and innovative.
Event Chairs:
The Event Chair is responsible for managing the event. This includes coordination of planning including theme, vendors, volunteers, legal paperwork, etc. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the PTO and VME without the full Board responsibilities. Event Chairs do NOT have to be on the Board.
Fall Fest - a version of this event has been held on campus every year since VME opened, nearly 19 years ago. This is a special evening of community connecting the VME families and staff (more than 1/2 the VME staff volunteer at Fall Fest) and having a fun-filled, STEAM themed, Fall night.
All of the information needed to run this event is available to the next team! Melissa Wychocki has chaired this for 6 years and will be moving to NNMS - I would love to train/guide the next Fall loving parent to take this over and keep this VME tradition alive!
Tell us what you think about where Fall Fest should take place -Fall Festival Survey
Other Chairs to be Assigned
