2024 Holiday Wish Fund
Each year, we identify families who could use a little extra help around the holidays. With support from our donors, we are able to purchase gifts for our very own BHS students. This year we have over 40 students who could use our support!
Please help us reach our goal to make this holiday season special for everyone. Make a donation online using the link: https://givebutter.com/0oV3it. Cash and checks made out to “BHS Student Activities” are gratefully accepted as well.

BSD Nurses Department
Collectively, we are Registered Professional Nurses, Nationally Certified by the Board of School Nurses dedicated to maintaining the health and wellbeing for all students in the Brunswick School Department.
We have a combined total 97 years of professional nursing experience in a wide range of healthcare settings, including Cardiopulmonary, Emergency Care, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Women’s Health, Inpatient Pediatrics, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Camp Health Center, and of course School Nursing. We have worked in urban and rural settings in and outside of Maine.
We all serve on the Executive Committee of the Maine Association of School Nurses and belong to the National Association of School Nurses.
Outside of work we enjoy travel, outdoor sports in all seasons, snowmobiling, yoga, singing in a band, and playing the piano.
We also like to dream big! In order for a child to fully access their education their healthcare needs must first be met. In this time of increasingly challenging access to health care services in our community, our dream is to bring accessible, equitable quality healthcare to all the students of the Brunswick School Department. A School Based Health Center that serves ALL students would be the nurses’ vision for the future of healthcare in our schools.
