Class of 2024: Graduation Ceremony

9:45 am - Seniors participating in Commencement are required to report to Koch Arena for graduation practice. Caps and gowns are not required. Attendance is mandatory.

5:45 pm - Doors are open. You must have a graduation ticket to enter.

Heights High School Tardy Policy

During the week of ​April 1st, Heights High School documented 398 tardies. This is in comparison to the documented ​502 tardies the week prior.


Tardy Policy:

After our 8- minute passing period, any student in the building that is not in class when the bell rings will be 'Swept' to the Cafeteria where they will be kept for the remainder of the hour. This will be considered an absence, and any missing class work will still be accepted following board policy. Students will be able to work during this time but will not be able to use a cell phone, headphones, or sleep. If students receive more then one tardy in a day, they will be sent home. Parents will be notified of any further consequences that are given.


Students were asked to watch this video with their Advocacy classes in preparation.

Wichita Heights High School is raising the $195,000 to complete the "Fallen Falcon Veteran Memorial and Gold Star Family Pavilion."

Three sided memorial with 25ft American Flag. Side 1, names of our Fallen Alumni, Side 2, sculpture relief, and Side 3, poem.

Gold Star Family Pavilion

Students exiting the school on the north side of the property will walk past the memorial and 6 branch flags to get to the Gold Star Family Pavilion. The Gold Star Family Pavilion is an outdoor classroom as well as a place for the community to use when school is not in session.

The American Flag will stand proudly as it is metaphorically and literally being held up by the brave Alumni that paid the ultimate price for our Country.
