3rd & 4th Grade Music Program Information
3rd Grade Students & Families
Performance Time: 6:00 P.M.
Please arrive to Solon no earlier than 5:50. Doors for entry will open at that time.
Park in the parking lot on the north side of the building and enter at door 4N. Additional parking will be permitted on neighborhood streets with entry at either 4N or 1W.
Additional handicap accessible parking will be located in the front circle drive with entry at door 1W. Please reserve parking in the circle drive for guests that need accessible parking.
All students should arrive to their classrooms by 5:55 where they will be monitored by their classroom teacher until the start of the program. We ask that parents keep personal items (coats, etc.) belonging to your children. Students will not be returning to their classrooms or lockers after the performance. They will be dismissed directly to their families in the gymnasium at the conclusion of the program.
There is no need to buy a special outfit for the performance; however, we ask that students dress nicely (no athletic wear or jeans, if possible).
We plan for the program to last approximately 25 minutes. Once the program is over, we ask that you exit the building and parking lot in a timely fashion to allow parking for our 4th grade families prior to their performance. Thank you for your assistance in ensuring a smooth transition between the two programs.

National School Counseling Week
National School Counseling Week is February 5th-9th . We are so grateful for Miss Lauritzen and all she does for the students, families, and staff. Please join us in wishing her a Happy National School Counseling Week!
Student Council Friendship Candygrams
If you would like to surprise your child with a Candygram, you can do the following:
- Stop by the office during school hours and see Lisa or Tina to purchase
or
- Send money in an envelope marked “Office” on the outside
- On the inside of the envelope, please make sure to include who the Candygram is to, who the Candygram is from, the LAST NAME of the child, and the teacher's name so Candygrams can be delivered to the correct student
(For example, if we see "To: Gabby, From: Mom," we have several students named Gabby at Solon and may not know which classroom/Gabby to deliver the Candygram.)
Yearbooks
Yearbook order forms went home this week with your child. All orders are due by Friday, March 1st.
To order online, please visit “inter-state.com/order and enter code “82144Q” OR return the order form with check payable to “Inter-State Studio & Publishing Co.”
The yearbook will be $19 and can be personalized for additional $4 (student name and photo on the cover). Don’t miss out!
