UNITED NATIONS AWARD WINNER
#PointerNation is delighted to announce MPHS Sophomore Kalea Biddick is being recognized by the United Nations Association of the USA and InnerView in the 7th Annual Community Service Impact Awards! This program, open to all US students, has been designed to connect student community service activities, skill development, and commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals to transform our world. Kalea is an inspiration for other students to get involved in our community. Congrats!

Join us in a standing ovation for the following cast members of our "Into the Woods" musical who have been named award recipients for Overture's Jerry Awards from our long list of deserving nominees!

Both are receiving this honor for their leadership, dedication, and positivity. They will have the opportunity to perform at the Jerry Awards which, will take place on Sunday, June 9 at 6:30 pm at Overture Center in Madison. Public ticket sales open on May 24.

CONFERENCE CHAMPS
If you look up the word "dynasty" in the dictionary, there is likely a photo of our #PointerNation Golf team! The Pointers claimed their 9th straight SWAL Conference Championship Tuesday in New Glarus!
Individually, Reid Acherman had the low score for the day and is the individual SWAL Champ, Alex Ross is SWAL Runner-Up in 2nd place, and Drew Aschliman 3rd.
All-Conference Awards were also distributed which found Alex Ross MVP and 1st Team, Reid Acherman 1st Team, Eli Lindsey 1st Team, and Drew Aschliman 1st Team.
Congrats on an amazing day!

1ST GRADE FUN IN PLATTEVILLE
1st graders had a fantastic field trip to Platteville! They stopped at Faherty's to learn about recycling, UW-Platteville for activities with college kids, and the inclusive playground.
ETHICS CERTIFICATION
Congrats to these Business students for learning the value of a very important attribute -- ethics! Brett Bossert, Gracelyn Foster, Lilly Houtakker, and Maci Muchow have received the A∙S∙K Business Institute Certificate of Advanced Learning for High Achievement on the Fundamentals of Ethics Exam as part of their Intro to Business and Marketing Class.

Sports Camps: These are offered for current 2nd through 11th grade students. Please note that some sport camps are offered in our Adventure Camp registration as well for younger grades.
Adventure Camp: This is for current 4K through 5th grade students. Please note that some sport camps are included in this section as well.
Please note: If you previously registered your child for Pointer Kids Club (summer day care), you must also register them for Adventure Camp.

-- Mineral Point Kids Club is looking for staff to work individually with a student during the Summer Pointer Kids Club program. Staff will need to be comfortable providing support that includes routine personal hygiene, toileting, care of personal assistance devices (communication board and eyeglasses), and supervision and cueing of activities. Staff will work together to support a student's unique needs. Staff will work from 1:00 pm until no later than 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Starting Salary: $16.00 per hour
