Volunteer Training
Welcome Back Parents,
I am the new volunteer coordinator for Sunrise Elementary School. If you would like to volunteer at Sunrise or chaperone for a field trip you will need to attend one volunteer training. There are 3 dates scheduled for now:
- *Wednesday, September 4, 2024 @ 3:30-4:30 pm in the library
- *Wednesday, October 2, 2024 @ 3:30-4:30 pm in the library
- *Wednesday, January 15, 2024 @ 3:30-4:30 pm in the library
Please bring your phone with you. It is needed for the scan code to complete the registration forms.
If you have already attended the training and completed the registration, there is no need to attend the training again.
I look forward to this coming school year to facilitate the trainings and help you successfully volunteer at Sunrise. Any questions please email me.
Warm regards,
Holly Kuhn

Attendance Matters!
Did you know...? Why Daily Attendance Matters:
- Being at school every day and on time will lead to higher academic growth, better relationships with peers and their teachers, better understanding of the subjects being taught, and foster a sense of belonging. Please take a few minutes to click the link and watch Bringing Home Attendance and Attendance: A Community Imperative. Bringing Home Attendance is a short video about parents talking about the importance of good attendance. A Community Imperative video is about why school attendance is so important. Both videos are short and very informative. https://www.attendanceworks.org/resources/videos/
