November Newsletter from the Early Education Center
Hello, Early Childhood Families -
Sincerely,
Your Early Education Center Team
Curriculum Overview: Theme 3 - Let’s Investigate
This month, preschoolers will read books, practice vocabulary words, and engage in math, literacy, and language activities around the theme "Let’s Investigate." We will address questions such as:
What can we learn from using our senses?
How can weather affect us?
How do we measure how big, how much, or how many?
How can we make things go?
As your child's first and most important teacher, continue the conversation at home! You can use the below chart to connect at home. In addition, we will have the posters in our preschool hallway each month so you can talk about them if you have to wait at arrival. This will be a fun and connecting way for families to add to the learning.
Winter Weather Gear
A second reminder to be prepared for cold weather: Preschoolers go outside every day! Close-toed running shoes and clothes that can get dirty are best.
Please make sure your child is prepared for cold weather by obtaining boots, snowpants, hats, mittens, and warm coats to school each day.
If your child needs warm winter gear, you are invited to visit the United Way’s Coat Room - Open through October 30, 2024
