RECOGNITIONS & CELEBRATIONS
ETMS Music Department
On Saturday, May 10th, our 8th grade music department traveled to St. Louis for the Music in the Parks Festival. Band, Choir and Orchestra all received "Superior" ratings and each group won first place in their division. This is the first time this has happened since ETMS opened. In addition, the Band and Orchestra received honors for being the highest ranked ensembles of the weekend for both Band and Orchestra. The students spent the rest of the day enjoying Six Flags St. Louis.
Girls Flag Football
We are extremely proud of our ETMS Girls Flag Football Team! They went undefeated in the first ever middle school flag football tournament. On top of that they competed at a high level with great character and did things the right way, the Bison way.
A-team won 26-6 vs. BCMS, tied PLMS 0-0, and won by forfeit to SLMS.
B-team won 18-0 vs. BCMS, tied 6-6 vs. PLMS and tied 0-0 against SLMS.
All these girls are champs in our book and can’t wait to see them continue to grow in the sport and compete in the future.
Way to go BISON! Girls with GRIT!
Middle School Tennis Tournament
Our very own Katie Wright took third in singles at the Middle School Tennis Tournament on Saturday, May 10th. Way to go Katie!
Jazz Band
After school on Wednesday, May 14th the ETMS Jazz Band performed a few pieces as students dismissed for the day.
