THE WEEKLY LION UPDATE
RUSHVILLE CONSOLIDATED HIGH SCHOOL
LEAVE IT BETTER THAN YOU SEE IT!
WEEK 3
It is really hard to believe how fast these weeks are going by. Next Monday is Labor Day so no school on Monday. I guess we will just have to treat Tuesday like a Monday!!!!! We have had many things going on her at RCHS. One big thing was the FFA Kickoff. We had 88 kids attend and they had a blast! We have two new faces of Rushville FFA, Sami DeLey and Karley Yeager. They are really bringing the energy and I look for great things to happen this year in FFA. Fall sports are well under way and I love watching our kids compete. This has been another week to add to the great start we have had this year. As compared to last year at the end of August our attendance is up by 2% and our discipline is down by 39 referrals. Let's keep this momentum going and remember next Tuesday is like Monday so It's Almost Tuesday Monday!!!!

GREATNESS IN THE CLASSROOM
PHYSICS
Mrs. Durand took her physics class outside to measure the speed of sound. They did 10 trials from 70 meters then 10 from 100 meters. I did learn that weather has a lot to do with the speed of sound.
Fire and Rescue
Mr. Tracy is off to a great start in our new Fire and Rescue program. These kids have been learning a lot. They were putting on gear looking for any defects and then discussing cleaning the gear.
