Hello NRMS Families,

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the Open House on Thursday evening at the middle school. As we discussed that evening, one key to student success is a solid partnership in place between school and home. This year we will continue our ongoing commitment to continuously improving communication. One tool for parents/guardians to use to stay on top of upcoming assignments and assessments is the Week-At-A-Glance documents that are updated each week. The links for these documents are below and will appear each week in this newsletter. The links are the same week to week, so you can bookmark the form after you access it for the first time.

We welcome parent volunteers at the middle school. And, we recognize that sometimes volunteering needs to be a bit stealth, as our middle schoolers begin to turn into teenagers and are less than excited about having mom/dad in school. We encourage you to join the PTO as this can be the most impactful way to support our school and students. The first meeting of the PTO is next week, Tuesday September 24 in the middle school cafeteria at 6pm. Please come and learn more.

We also have openings on our School Council. Please contact the PTO or email me to learn more and/or submit your name for consideration to join the council.
