Welcome!
As we gear up for another exciting school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to all our students and families! Our staff has been bustling with preparations, and we are ready to create a safe and supportive environment where every student can thrive. Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time, we are excited to see the halls and classrooms come alive with energy and enthusiasm.
Here's to a fantastic year ahead!
ParentVUE is Here!
Our student information system eSchool has been replaced with the newer, more robust system, Synergy. Today, families will receive an email from MSD with instructions and a unique code to register returning students in Synergy’s parent portal, ParentVUE.
In ParentVUE, middle and high school families will be able to check student schedules, attendance, grades and more; and all families will use the system to register and update emergency information.
If you don’t receive the email, check your spam folder. You can also call your school for your activation code and help with the process. Watch for more information about the features of the new system coming soon.

Stay in the Loop
ParentSquare is the mass notification system used by the district and your students’ schools to share information about your child and school events.
ParentSquare is also how we will contact you with emergency messaging such as school closures during inclement weather.
You do not need to sign up for ParentSquare, but if you download the app, your messages are easier to track, you can change preferences like how often and how you receive messages and more. Click for details on ParentSquare, links to the app and more.
Bus Families
The bus routes are being updated based on family registration last spring. New routes are coming soon and will be sent to registered families via ParentSquare and posted on the Transportation webpage Please be patient during the first weeks of school as bus routes may be adjusted.
Contact Katie Morris @ 503.565.4024 or kamorris@msd.k12.or.us with any questions.
Track Your Bus!
If your student is a bus rider, you might consider downloading the FirstView app, which is synced with the bus system. The app allows you to track your student’s bus in real time, get custom alerts when the bus is approaching and more. Find details and the app download here.
Back-to-School Anxiety
If your child is nervous about school starting up, here are some tips that can help.

What is Peachjar?
Peachjar is an electronic flyer delivery system that is used to send out information for district sports camps, McMinnville Public Library, Parks & Rec programs and other outside organizations. The flyers are sent directly to families as emails and are posted on the school websites under the blue Peachjar button.
Families do not need to sign up for Peachjar, but may register to set preferences for delivery dates and more.
