Art Adventures @ Achieve Online

The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.

Students can develop their skills in art throughout the day!

Students will be creating sculptures from a variety of unique 3D materials from 9:00-10:15.

Self-directed and collective art projects will be created using various materials. Students will practice their skills in art making and can support others in creating group projects from 12- 12:55.

We are excited to offer Ceramics as a class at Achieve Online! Feel free to join us for support in ceramics every week on Wednesdays from 10:15- 11:25.

Students will have studio time on Wednesdays throughout the day in 164 to work on projects. Feel free to join us at school!

AP Art Students are more than welcome to work in the building on Monday and Wednesday. They can use materials provided in the classroom and get feedback on projects and sketches from myself and the students.

Hello Art Students,

I am Mrs. Crow and I will be offering a variety of experiential learning activities this year at Achieve Online!

Some of my ideas for the year include:

• Supporting students as artists through independent practice
• Leading hands-on art experiences with diverse art media
• Guiding students in courses and providing extra support
• Encouraging students to experience art in the community through field trips
• Facilitating special art projects at Achieve, throughout D11, and in the broader Colorado Springs area

Students will be able to meet with me at school on Wednesdays.

Student-driven activities will guide art club. We will meet in the art room to create personal and community projects.
