As the weather turns cooler, please check to make sure your child has appropriate extra clothes in their cubby. Mornings are always a little colder so please send a jacket also.

We will be offering the opportunity to order books through Scholastic again this year. We are trying to do this completely digital this year so all of the information is below. However, if you need a paper flyer please let us know. We still receive a few of them in the mail that we can give you upon request.

Lifetouch will be at Trinity School on October 9th taking individual pictures of kids. If you are interested in having your child's photo taken, please talk with your classroom teacher. We will walk them over at 8:15 or you can take your child yourself at that time. You can order online using the link below and the Picture Day ID: EVT2K9HK7 or you can use a paper form located near the sign-in tablet. If you are ordering online please choose "Not Available" for the grade. There is also a 15% off code right now: FALL24.

Bring your children to join us for Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 31 6:00-8:00 pm. Your child can dress up and walk around the parking lot to decorated trunks for a treat.

We would like to encourage your child to participate in a PJ Party, Wednesday, November 1st!

After a busy night of Trick or Treating, wake up and come in your Pajamas!

Red group Preschool will need to dress appropriately for preschool but can bring pajamas for after lunch.

Outside Food:

Here at Trinity we follow the State Food Program. One of the policies is that we cannot allow outside food to be brought to the childcare. The only exception to this is when you want to bring treats for a birthday or holiday. However, even these cannot take the place of any meals we normally offer. If your child is eating a snack on the way to childcare in the morning please ensure it is finished before they enter the building or gets left in the vehicle. Food placed into backkpacks or cubbies not only creates a temptation during the day, it also attracts bugs.

If your child is the Snack Child for Mrs. Reiner's class please give the snack to the classroom teacher.

Outside Toys:

Toys from home can present numerous problems. The most serious of these happen when they get lost or taken. We have provided many toys that are age appropriate for the children to play with here at Trinity. Please help us out by limiting any outside toys to one snuggly for naptime.

You will soon be receiving your Summer Survey for this year via email. It is through Google Forms once again. It is very helpful for us to have your feedback. If a question does not apply to your child feel free to skip that question.

When your child receives new immunizations, please bring those records in to the office. We must keep immunizations up to date on all children. Our records are checked annually to make sure all children are current. Thank you for your help in this matter.

We have few projects that will not last until the Spring Clean-up Day in May. Please take a look at the list below and see if this is something you could help us with. All materials will be supplied by the Child Care.

1. Paint the bench over the first window well at the Little Daycare Building

2. Clean up and repair the sandbox in the Big Field

3. Weed eat at the Little Daycare and Big Daycare (including around the BDC garage and the fences)

5-8pm ~ Gather near the lake, then move to the dining hall for a delicious meal, a brief presentation & the opportunity to make a financial donation to the Trinity Lutheran Camp Legacy Fund. Can't attend? You can still make a donation.

Trinity Lutheran Church will be having a New Member's Class on October 20 & 27 (attend both) . It will be from 5:00-7:00pm. Dinner will be provided. If you are interested in attending please call Pastor Brian at 406-909-0357.
