Purchase tickets or Donate TODAY to support WB teachers and students
Did you know the West Bloomfield Educational Foundation (WBEF) has provided over $1 million in grant funding to our public school teachers? WBEF has impacted every grade at every school in the district. The WBEF is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
West Bloomfield Educational Foundation continues to fund innovative ideas from WBSD teachers in academics, arts, STEM, and mental health. Here are some photos of WBEF grant projects in action at the WBMS iCenter! The more donations we receive, the more teacher grant requests we can fulfill. More info at https://www.wbef.org/

WBHS students Ashlee Frankford wins DAR Good Citizen Award
Ashlee Frankford is the recipient of the DAR Good Citizen Award from WBSD. The Piety Hill Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, honored 16 local high school recipients of the Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Essay Contest on January 9, 2025, at the Bloomfield Township Public Library.
The DAR Good Citizen Award recognizes and rewards individuals who possess good citizenship qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. These students are selected by their teachers and peers because they demonstrate these qualities to an outstanding degree.
There are 3,000 chapters of the DAR in all 50 states and Washington D.C. The DAR headquarters complex occupies an entire city block near the White House. It was founded in 1890 as a nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism.
