Dear Cardinals,
The mass readings on this Sunday remind us that we need to stay connected to God and put our hope in Him. The prophet Jeremiah reminds us:
"Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose hope is in the Lord.
He is like a tree planted beside the waters
that stretches out its roots to the stream;
it fears not the heat when it comes;
its leaves stay green;
in the year of drought it shows no distress,
but still bears fruit."
Jeremiah 17: 7-8
So this week, let us remember how vital it is to stay connected to God. Our theme this year is "Rooted in Christ" and the image of a tree planted near water from todays scripture reminds us that we have nothing to fear if we remain close to Christ - trusting and hoping in him!
Like we were reminded on our first Faith Friday, the Eucharist is the most powerful way that we can stay connected to the self-giving love of Christ!
Lord, help us to trust in You.
You are our Hope.

Knights of Columbus Parish Family Pasta Supper - February 22nd! Mark your calendars!
Everyone is invited to attend this parish fundraiser for new lights to the stations of the cross at OLA church.
The Parish Family Pasta supper will be on Saturday February 22, 2025 at 6:30 pm, @ St. Andre Bessette Catholic High School, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Women’s League.
Supper will include Pasta & sauce, garlic bread, Caesar Salad, drinks and desserts. All the money raised will go towards the station of the cross lights project.

Tickets are $20.00 for 18yrs and older, $10.00 for 6yrs – 17 yrs and 5 yrs or younger is free. Thank you!
