Noteworthy
Week of November 18
Dear CIMA Families
During this season of giving, we at the Correia Music Department are incredibly grateful for the support of our families and friends. Your generosity has allowed us to nurture young musicians, provide exceptional instruction, and foster a vibrant musical community. Thanks to your contribution, we can continue to inspire creativity and provide opportunities for students to grow and develop their musical talents.
Weβre also grateful for our hard-working and kind students who are diligently preparing for our December 19 Holiday Extravaganza, a show filled with surprises and fun.
Noteworthy will be on hiatus for the Thanksgiving Holiday and will return on December 2. We hope you and your family enjoy a well-deserved break and find time to rest and recover.
Sincerely,
Marc Dwyer - Director

Applications for new members now open!
Is your child interested in Tri-M? Tri-M is a nationally recognized Honors Society designed to engage students who are academically capable and musically gifted. Through performance and community service, the students of the Correia Chapter of Tri-M develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking, compassion, and a host of other leadership skills that are sure to serve them well into High School and beyond. Students also complete community service projects and hours that can be applied to the Community Service Requirement for Correia Middle School.
The application process for our next slate of student leaders opens November 17, and are due on December 1. Students must earn a 3.0 academic GPA at the close of Semester 1 and be in good citizenship standing (Meets or Exceeds). Students should be prepared to provide evidence of leadership and discuss their music experiences both in and out of the classroom.
New members will be notified by January 6th, and will be inducted at a ceremony held on the evening of Wednesday, January 22. Selected members are required to attend monthly meetings and participate in community service projects, often outside of school time.
