Superintendent's Message
Mascoma Valley Regional School District Community:
On Thursday, January 4, I was invited to be a part of a round table discussion regarding the expansion of Broadband by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, and Grafton County. This roundtable is focused on Internet connectivity, with an emphasis on the barriers to and benefits of high-speed Internet access and adoption as well as about struggles with accessing the Internet that you have experienced or witnessed in your community and how quality Internet service supports ways you live, work, and learn. Among community members representing the importance of adequate broadband in rural areas, we were joined by Tom Perez, Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President and Director of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, The White House; Alan Davidson, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information and NTIA Administrator and Maggie Hassan, U.S. Senator, New Hampshire. It was an honor and a privilege to represent the Mascoma School District as well as other rural districts in the state that need and deserve access to broadband.
Best wishes,
