Jones Band Notes 30

Our PISD Solo Contest is coming up on Saturday, April 12th at Prosper High School. This is a required performance for all Jones Band Members. Timeslots will be released in the next week or so, and we will send them out as soon as we get them. Students will wear business casual attire, details of which are in our Handbook.

Note: 8th Graders attending Rock Hill will have a morning slot so they can attend Freshman Hype Day after their performance.

No Wind Ensemble sectionals this week. Enjoy a break after UIL!

Your final Solo Chunk Assignment is due this Friday in Google Classroom. If you have not submitted the first two chunks, please get those completed immediately.

Our second Objective Sheet checkpoint is coming up on April 7th. Students must have four objectives completed to earn a 100 for this checkpoint. I've included the full details here.

All students should be working on their solos for our upcoming Solo Contest on April 12th. They will perform sections individually for a band director THIS WEEK.
