From Principal Wilken
Dear Tully Families,
The second quarter student benchmark scores were great! We are so proud of the gains our tigers made from the the first quarter. Good job students, staff, and parents! Your hard work is showing!
Last semester our school and garden was broken into and damage was done. The chicken coup was broken into and sadly our chickens were killed. We miss them very much. Since then, our U of A partners are making repairs to the chicken coup. We want our school to be safe all the time, not only during school hours. We will be hosting a community forum in the coming weeks. A notice will go out on ParentLink.
Congratulations to Sofie Sanchez. Sofie represented Tully in the District Spelling Bee and came in 3rd place. We are so proud of you Sofie. TIGER STRONG! 🐯
With warm regards,
Principal Wilken

🍃Tully's Growing Green!
As Tully’s ecology and garden program continues to grow and evolve, our garden committee has been adding new features that add to the strength and effectiveness of the program. One of these newer features is that each grade level now has its own garden theme and focus. The themes correspond to a part of a plant and an area of the garden that their grade level stewards and maintains. The preschool and kindergarteners are the Super Seeds and they focus on the soil and our compost bin. The first graders are the Fantastic Fruits and they focus on our fruit trees. The second graders are the Lucky Leaves and they steward our desert tortoise habitat. The third graders are the Fabulous Flowers and they take care of our butterfly garden. The fourth graders are the Strong Stems and they support our vegetable garden beds. And last but not least, our fifth graders are the Rad Roots and they focus on water stewardship. With all that support, Tully’s outdoor learning spaces are in good hands!
