The First Week With College Classes
This week marks the first week of both High School and College classes. Our students are now fully immersed in the HSMC experience! As always, if you or your child(ren) have questions or are in need of support, please call the office, we are here to serve you.
We hope you join us for our Open House next week on the 23rd of August. This is an opportunity for you to meet with your student's teachers and receive important information about HSMC, Moorpark College, and your child's academic career. The schedule for the evening is listed below. We can't wait to see you!
All students must sign out in the office after their college classes, this helps us with attendance and record keeping. Please continue to pick your student up at the office parking lot.
Have a wonderful week, Phoenix families!
Back To School Night
Please join us for our back to school night, the evening will begin at 6:00pm sharp. Park in the school parking lot and meet in the grassy lunch area for our welcome. Below is the schedule for the evening. You can download a copy by clicking here.
Vaccine Mandate
At their August 9, 2022 meeting, the Ventura County Community College District board of trustees rescinded the vaccine mandate for the community college district. This decision means the following for our students:
- If you are having trouble uploading your vaccine information to the My VCCCD app, you no longer have to worry about getting it uploaded
- All students must still check in on the app. It is being adjusted so it will show blue if the student doesn't report symptoms or contacts
Thank you all for your support during the past two years as we have navigated the requirements of both VCCCD and MUSD. If you have any questions, please call the office.
