Students are encouraged to view the Career & Academic Blueprints on the district's Real-World Learning site as they select their courses for next year. These blueprints provide information regarding different career areas and which courses to take at the high school level, post-secondary level, and the types of occupations available within each field. MISSOURI LEADERSHIP SEMINAR - SOPHOMORES
Planning is now underway for the Missouri Leadership Seminar. This is a free event, May 30th to June 1st on the campus of University of Central Missouri. This is for sophomores who would like to develop their leadership skills. Students are exposed to panels of professional speakers on various topics and issues. Check out their website HERE. Interested students can fill out the application HERE. Deadline is Feb 1st.

This week's MVA Spotlight: NCAPS! Are you looking for a professional learning and internship program? NCAPS may be perfect for you! Check out all the details HERE! Earn a MVA while learning from professionals in a field of your choice!
GROW YOUR OWN TEACHER
Grow Your Own Teachers (GYOT) is a loan forgiveness program available for culturally diverse students who are currently enrolled as seniors at Liberty Public Schools. GYOT recipients will receive a financial award to be applied toward college tuition. Interested students must meet the following criteria: Have admission into an accredited college/university to become a teacher. Be a good citizen. Deadline for applications is February 18, 2025. Current Sophomores and Juniors who are interested in applying to one of our fantastic career centers for next year, applications are now open! EARLY COLLEGE ACADEMY
Early College Academy allows students to attend classes on the campus of Maple Woods Commmunity College and receive both college and high school credit. If you are a current sophomore or junior and interested in learning more click HERE. Applications are open for the 25-26 school year and due by February 14, 2025.

MY MISSOURI "MyMO" SCHOLARSHIP PROMISE
Attention Freshmen! “MyMO” Scholarship Promise will assist Missouri students from low-income backgrounds on their pathway to college starting 9th grade year. The yearly benchmarks will help students be more college ready by senior year. Earn Scholarship Dollars for College: Students earn $2,500 each year by meeting college-going benchmarks, totaling $10,000 by senior year. These funds will be disbursed directly to the school in the form of an outside scholarship to any eligible college in Missouri on behalf of the student. For more Information Click HERE!
