How it works for Participants
This convenient virtual event lets you join from any location and speak directly with faculty and advisors from teacher preparation programs. Share your background, interests, and needs, and learn how different programs may fit your pursuit of an initial or additional license in a high-need area of special education.
Never attended an online event? No problem! Here’s how it works.
What’s an online/virtual job fair?
An online event that allows potential students to connect with faculty and staff from multiple education programs.
What should I expect?
After completing your online registration, explore the virtual booths set up by each program. In the days before the event, advisors from the programs you express interest in will contact you to schedule a time to chat on November 14th. You'll have the option of selecting a time most convenient to your schedule or declining the invitation.
Your chats will take place online in a one-on-one setting. Each chat will start in text and have the option of being a face-to-face video conversation. The chats allow you to share your specific needs and ask questions privately.
How do I join the event?
You can join from any connected device, including a computer, smartphone, or tablet. However, to have the best experience, we recommend that you have access to a webcam and join from a distraction-free setting.
When do I join the event?
You can join at the leisure of your schedule during the work day, during a prep time, break, or after school. The event will run from 10 AM to 5 PM. There will be several group discussions/video chats and scheduled time to connect with faculty from the education preparation programs. These times will be listed on the booths in the lobby.
