Greetings!

1. What a roller coaster of temps we have had this week, and that will likely continue for weeks to come! We value getting fresh air and getting kids outside and moving, so we do go outside for recess if the feel-like-temp is above 0. Please keep that in mind when the kids are leaving for school in the morning! Outer wear is necessary for recess!

2. Is your kiddo missing a hoodie? In the short time we've been back in 2025, we've accumulated a lot of hoodies in our lost and found. Please ask them to check it out to see if anything is theirs!

3. Next Thursday, 1/23 is Bingo for Books! This is an annual tradition at Willowdale and is such a fun event for families! Please join us! A flyer is going home with students today and I hope to see you there!

4. The children do not have school Monday, so we will see them Tuesday, 1/21!

5. Have a wonderful weekend with your families and try to stay warm!

The PTO is a great way to meet other parents, find out about PTO sponsored events and volunteer on several event committees. By joining and/or being a volunteer, you are working with other parents and teachers/staff members, to help enrich the educational experience for all students.

The first day of school for the. 2024-2025 school year will be Thursday, August 8th.

Everyone is welcome on each Don & Millie's Night, located at 144th & Harrison streets. Art work will be displayed on the night for that grade level.

Here are the dates for your planning:

February 5th is for 4th Grade

March 5th is for 5th Grade

April 2nd is for KG, 1st and 2nd

May 7th is for 3rd, 4th and 5th.
