What's Up At The Nest...

We have had so much fun this week with our ABC Countdown. Thursday was K - Kindness. Students spread kindness notes throughout the school to brighten our day. The messages were incredibly sweet and thoughtful. These last few weeks of school certainly are fun! Speaking of fun, don't forget to complete a field day permission slip for each of your children so they can participate in all of the fun activities and inflatable obstacle course. A link to the permission slip is below.

Wear Spirit Wear for Senior Walk

Thursday, May 23rd, we will be hosting our second annual OMS Senior Walk! We will welcome members of The OMS Class of 2012 and their families back to the nest. Dressed in their caps and gowns, the seniors will take a celebratory lap through the halls of Olive Mary Stitt as our current students cheer them on and celebrate their high school graduation. We highly encourage our current staff and students to wear Olive gear or dress in school colors to add to the festivities.

Field Day Permission Slips Due 5/24

Field Day is scheduled for Thursday, June 6th with a rain date of Friday, June 7th. Please complete a permission slip for EACH of your children. There are two versions of the permission slip, one for kindergarten students and one for 1st-5th students.

Kindergarteners will enjoy playing on the west playground and play in the PTA sponsored inflatable obstacle course. Field Day Permission Slip 2019 (Kindergarten Inflatable Course)

Additional details regarding the schedule for the day will be provided by your child's classroom teacher in the upcoming weeks. In order to participate in this fun day, this form must be submitted by FRIDAY, MAY 24th, 2019.

Thomas Book Drive

A huge thank you from Thomas Middle School to all who were able to contribute to the TMS BE THE GOOD Book Drive - We were able to set up a library at the New Life Homeless Shelter & send 6+ bins to Bernie's Book Bank! Wow!
