MISSIONARY SPOTLIGHT
Melissa - Christar
Melissa chose to follow Christ at age 5. While in high school, God began to burden her heart to bring Him glory through world missions. After a short trip to North Africa, Melissa became aware of Muslim ministry and prayed about getting involved. She studied TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) and children’s ministry at a Bible college in Chicago to become better equipped to move overseas. Melissa is working in Albania ministering to unreached people groups with the goal of seeing a church planted.
Praises:
-
God continues to provide the needs our team has, both personally and in our ministry.
- We are thankful that God has blessed us with good relationships with the local women which allows us to develop meaningful relationships.
- An unexpected gift from our gracious father is my recent engagement.
- Please pray that God would provide growth and soft hearts in the women who attend the Institute.
Pray for discernment as ministry roles need to be balanced during this season.
- We ask God for continued good relationships with the women in the community.
