Weekly Update July 26, 2024

We will be moving our previously scheduled Professional Development day from October 11 to October 18. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please update your calendars.

It's hard to beleive it, but it's the time where we start to think about going back to school again. If your child will be returning to or starting school in the fall, please be sure to talk to your BCBA so we can help with transition planning. Even if it is a return to familiar place, we can help with the transition by talking to your child about school, their teachers, and all the fun they will have. If you have pictures you can share of the school or teachers, we're happy to take time to show those and talk about them. If you'll be needing to change your schedule, let us know as soon as you can.

We are seeking another BCBA to join our growing team! Right now, Amy will continue working alongside Jessica in Burton to ensure that the children get all the care they need. We have posted the job for a BCBA and will update families when we've found the right person. This will allow us to have two full time BCBAs in each building all the time.

Each Friday in the summer, we plan for an extra fun activity and a dress up day. All the dress up days are designed to be simple ones you can do with things you have at home, please don’t feel obligated to buy anything to make these happen. Staff and children will both participate in dressing up! Dress up days are listed below so you can plan.

8-16-24 School Spirit Day – wear your Strive shirt! - Wheels Day/Wheels Wash - bring your wheels and helmets again - today we'll ride them and wash them!

8-23-24 PD Day - NO THERAPY

8-30-24 All one color Day
