WALKING WEDNESDAY REPORT
The turnout for our first walk- and bike-to-school event of the year was noteworthy. Eighty four students and seventeen adults (101 total) signed in at the front entrance. Given the real threat of rain, there were a lot of brave students and adults who came to school using their own power on Wednesday. Thank you to all the participants and all who supported them. If you examine the graph below, you will find that Team Triumph had the greatest student participation rate. Teams USA and Voyagers also had quite a few students join in. We will see who has the highest rates in October.
TRIUMPH 6TH GRADE ART
Ms. Montgomery introduced the students to information and images about the artist, Jen Stark. Her work was intended to galvanize these Triumph students and it did. The photos are of the students creating their Stark-inspired paintings. Link to 13 Pictures.

Dear Families,
The Voyager Team is excited to reopen the Raider’s Treasure Chest! Our opening day will be Friday, September 22nd. We will be open for students during their lunchtime each Friday. We are limiting students to no more than two items per visit. Most items are priced under a dollar and no item is priced over two dollars. If you choose to have your child shop at the school store they would need no more than a dollar or two.
The goal of the school store is to provide all of our students with experience handling money and balancing needs with wants. For school store employees, there is also the chance to order, stock, and interact with the public. Our students are incredibly proud of the store. We work hard to provide inexpensive products
We also have students working on researching greener products and packaging as well. The school store is a part of the Voyager experience and we hope it will be a part of yours as well.
PICTURE DAYS
School photos are taken of all students and staff members each September for record-keeping purposes and for those who want to purchase professionally taken photos. This year, the picture days will occur on September 26th & 27th. Link to the schedule for photo taking by learning community
