RFHE Families-

December is here, and it’s such a fun and exciting time at school! This month is filled with exciting learning opportunities and festive activities that highlight the amazing work of our students and staff.

We’re so proud of all the hard work our students have been doing, and we’re looking forward to ending the year strong. Along with some festive fun over the next few weeks, students will take end of semester assessments to measure their learning. These results will be shared with you at some point but may be after we return from the holiday break. The students have been working so hard to learn and grow and we are excited to see the progress that they have made.

Just a reminder about our food drive that is currently happening! 5th grade is in the lead but other grade levels are right on their heels! We will continue taking donations until December 10. Thank you for contributing to this important cause.

5 - Elementary UIL Competition in Daingerfield (no parents per Daingerfield UIL rules), parent lunch visitors

9 - 2nd 9 week benchmark window opens, ND Board meeting @ 6:30pm

10 - 5th grade ELAR benchmark, ND Food Drive ends

11 - 5th grade Math benchmark

12 - parent lunch visitors, 2nd 9 weeks benchmark window closes, winners from food drive get cookie treat

14 - United Way will distribute food drive food to families

17 - Christmas Concert for 2nd and 3rd grades

18 - Class holiday parties (see schedule above)

19 - Polar Express day, parent lunch visitors, end of 2nd 9 weeks

20 -Jan 5 - Christmas Break
