NEW - A Few Things...
- If your student doesn't ride the bus consistently, please make sure to communicate with their teacher.
- If you would like to speak to your student during school hours, please do not approach them on the playground. Our staff does not know every parent and may not know who you are. Please come to the front office and will can call them out of class to speak with you. Thank you for understanding.
NEW - Veteran's Day Celebration
- For the past four years, CCE has celebrated Veteran's Day by placing flags around the perimeter of our school. Each flag will have someone's name who either served or is serving now in the military or is a first responder (Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Federal Agents, EMTs, Doctors or Nurses, etc.). If you have someone in your family (more than one is fine) that we can celebrate by putting their name on a flag, please fill out the link HERE. We will give that flag(s) to your students for them to place along the grass.
- To further celebrate Veteran's Day, CCE would like to invite those who are Veterans, current military personnel, and first responders to Coyote Creek Elementary School for a performance from our choir and to enjoy refreshments.

What an amazing season we've had in the CCE running club! Thursday, October 3rd, was our last practice, and I want to take a moment to congratulate each and every one of our runners for their hard work, dedication, and incredible energy throughout the season. You've all made this experience fun and fantastic, and I'm so proud of the progress you've made. Keep up the great work! Way to go, Roadrunners!

No Dogs On Campus
As much as we love your dogs and think they are absolutely adorable, there are no dogs allowed on campus. This includes dogs of all sizes and ages. They are not allowed on campus when children are present, and this includes when our BASE program is taking place before and after school. Your dogs are allowed in your car when you drive through to pick up your student. They may even get a treat from our Principal.

4th Grade Recorders
Hello 4th grade families,
CCE Music will start recorders soon. If you have not already done so, please log into your My School Bucks account and go into the CCE Store (then click on 'Browse All'). You will choose the 24-25 4th Grade Recorders. The quicker your students have their equipment, the more time we will have to work on them this year! If you have any questions about recorders, feel free to reach out to me (Mrs. Balchuck) at esbalchuck@dcsdk12.org or if it is a question regarding MySchoolBucks, you can contact Hayley in the front office.

The POP Tab Recycling Program
The Pop Tab Recycling Program is a fundraising project to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver. The Ronald McDonald Houses in Denver and Aurora serve as a home away from home for many families whose children are seriously ill and are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
How the program works
Aluminum beverage can tabs are collected and sold for cash. Also tabs from soup, tuna, and fruit etc. cans can be collected.
Please collect your tabs and bring them to the main office. Thank you so very much for helping!

Rent the rock and/or the school’s electronic marquee to recognize a student’s birthday, show school spirit, thank or recognize teachers or staff members, congratulatory events, etc. (Reservations for the marquee need to be made at least one week in advance. Also, marquee is not available on the weekends, during the summer or holidays when the school is closed.)
