The PHHS Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Building Council needs your input. Your input will help us decide what we need to work on to improve DEIB in our building. The PHHS DEIB Building Council consists of students, parents/guardians, and staff. Our mission is to address the needs of your building with regard to these areas.
The Park Hill School District goal is to build successful futures for Park Hill students of all backgrounds. The District DEIB Council created DEIB Drivers and Narrative Statements to drive the work that we focus on. Click here to access these Drivers and Narrative Statements.
PHHS was featured in a District Spotlight that featured our International Student Alliance student group. Take a look to see what the creation of this group has done to support the DEIB and Park Hill goal. Click here to see the Park Hill Spotlight Video.
For more in-depth information about the work that has been done by the District DEIB Council, visit this website: https://www.parkhill.k12.mo.us/test-page-cline/access-and-inclusion.
Please click the button below to take the survey. The survey asks what resonated with you after reading this information, how has the work done so far impacted your school, and what you want to see happening at your school. We appreciate your time to give us your feedback to help the PHHS DEIB Council moving forward.
Our A+ coordinator is Ellen Reys. Click the website link below for more information about the scholarship program, its benefits, and how your child can sign up.

OUTSIDE FOOD BEING BROUGHT INTO THE SCHOOL
The PHHS policy for food being brought in from outside the school is as follows.
- If a student forgets their lunch from home and a parent brings in a lunch from home the parent should text the student to instruct them to pick up their lunch at the front security desk on their way to lunch. The student will eat the lunch during their regular scheduled lunch time.
- If a student is brought fast food from an outside business the parent should text the student to notify them their food is at the front security desk. The student must eat the outside lunch during their regular scheduled lunch time on the bench in the entrance foyer area. Fast food in classrooms distracts from learning and fast food in the cafeteria is prejudicial to good order and disruptive.
- If a student is brought fast food from an outside business and the parent wishes to eat lunch with their student the parent should text the student and tell them their food has arrived and that, during their regular scheduled lunch shift, the parent and student will eat together on the bench in the entrance foyer area.
- Door Dash, Uber Eats and similar deliveries are prohibited at PHHS. If a student orders food from one of these services, the food will be kept in the office and the student may pick it up at the end of the school day.
PBIS Donations
We are still in need of donations for the PBIS store. Thank you so much to those that have donated so far! The PBIS store will be set up for students to start using their points to purchase items after the Labor Day weekend. There will be information coming soon to help you see your child's PBIS account, but in the meantime, you can ask them to pull up their account on their laptop.
Below is some information and video about what PBIS that was shared previously in case you missed it:
Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) is being implemented at Park Hill High School. Our building expectations are that Park Hill High School students will be Respectful, Responsible, and Resilient (see matrix below). The video below gives you a more in depth look of what this will look and sound like at PHHS.We are looking for donations from the community to stock our PBIS store with what students stated they wanted to spend their points on. At the end of last year the students took a survey to let us know what they would like. The items we are asking for that students requested are snacks, drinks, school supplies, and giftcards/gift certificates. The video gives more detail about the survey given to gain this information.
