Hockey Hats & Apparel
Hockey Clothing
The North American ice hockey market is a reflection of this. The sport has also increased in popularity all over the world partly due to the development of synthetic ice.
Goalie pants are made of the thicker pelvic, thigh, and hip pads to protect. Goalie jocks, also referred to as jills, are characterized by less protection for the groin area and more padding on the front of their cup.
Apparel
Hockey players wear a lot of protective equipment as the game involves high-speed skating over hard surfaces and is often physically challenging, with players colliding often even intentionally. The most common safety equipment for a hockey player includes sticks, ice skates, helmets with visors shoulder pads, chest protectors, gloves, elbow pads and heavy-padded shorts (also called jock athletic protectors for men and jockstraps, or "jills" for women) and pelvic protection (also known as a girdle (or "jill" for females), and hip pads, thigh pads, tailbone pads and shins. A neck protector could also be worn.
In recent years technology has been used to reduce the weight and make the apparel more useful. For instance, a lot of companies currently utilize carbon composites for stick shafts, and specialized foam is also available to make shoulder pads more lightweight without the protection they provide. Other enhancements include 3D scans that precisely model a player’s body proportions to ensure that elbow pads knee pads and shinpads are made to be sized for each player.
As more people become acquainted with the sport, and as synthetic ice surfaces are being constructed all over the world to allow players to play in areas without natural ice, the hockey market will grow. The number of female hockey players has also grown which is a good thing for the market.
Hats
A cap can be worn on and off the skating rink. From hiding helmet hair to displaying your pride for hockey We have a broad selection of caps for both women and men that are sure to delight. We also carry a range of youth hats for younger fans and players that can be used for training or games. Hats are an integral part of the hockey world. They are seen in all leagues, including the famous tradition of throwing their hats on the ice after the player scores three goals in a match.
We have all the NHL apparel that you need to look like a pro both on and off the playing field.
Jerseys
Jerseys are the uniforms worn by hockey players. They are usually made of thicker fabrics than jerseys used in other sports, and they have long sleeves. The jerseys are emblazoned with the team logo on the front and the player's name on the upper back and the player's number, from 0 to 99. Some jerseys are also adorned with a "C" and an "A" on them, representing the team's captain and alternate captain.
There are two types: authentic and replica. Genuine jerseys are made of the same material as the jerseys worn by players, and have the same design. Replica jerseys are made of different (and typically cheaper) materials, and they may not have the same design as the authentic jerseys.
The majority of NHL teams have three or four sets of jerseys that are worn during games. They also have special sets for things like traditional designs and charity events. Each jersey is fitted with an elastic band sewn to the inside back called a fight strap, which must be tied to the player's pants during a game to stop the sweater from being pulled over a player's head in a fight.
The Authentic Pro is the top-tier jersey from the NHL and is constructed of high-performance fabrics with multilayered tackle twill, 3D embroidery and reinforced stitching. Both men's and woman's styles are available. The Authentic Premier is a lower-tier version of the Authentic Pro, and it is designed to replicate the appearance of the jerseys that players wear on the court.
Shirts
The team's uniforms, also known as jerseys, are the most well-known piece of clothing. They display the team's primary logo on the front, and typically include a second logo on the shoulders. The name of the player is displayed on the back of the jersey, and the player's number appears below it, ranging from 0 to 99. Captains of the team wear an uppercase "C" above and to the right of their jersey's logo, while two other players--designated as alternate captains--wear an "A" on theirs.
The majority of NHL teams have an alternate sweater that is worn for special occasions such as the Winter Classic and Stadium Series. Additionally there are many teams who have a retro or throwback alternative for their home jerseys. Third-sweater sweaters are an excellent way for teams to experiment and could serve as a basis for their primary sweaters.
Vancouver Canucks' sweater is a stunning blend of traditional and modern design. The blue and black jerseys have a striking style to them that makes it easy to identify on the ice, while the white stripes add contrast. The Canucks have an attractive font on their numbers and names, which enhances the clean appearance of the jersey.
