Emergency Response Procedures
Our district is committed to ensuring the emotional and physical safety of students, staff, and families. In the event of a school emergency, each Boise School has an Emergency Response Plan developed with Ada County Emergency Management. Your cooperation is vital to ensure a smooth response. Please do not call or go to the school. Emergency responders and staff need clear access to the site. Reunification details will be shared via the Boise School District website and social media platforms. Please rely only on official updates. Parents can sign up for emergency text notifications by texting SUBSCRIBE to 67587 and ensuring their contact info is up-to-date with the school. Non-parents can download the District’s mobile app for alerts. Familiarize yourself with emergency terms like shelter-in-place, lockdown, and evacuation, and always report any concerns to authorities. Planning ahead will help keep everyone safe.
