Principal's Message
- While MAP scores do NOT define your student, ask them how they did. I had over 500 emails from students sharing that they increased from the beginning of the year. Your support of their hard work and our incredible teachers is paying off. Remind your student to keep showing up, show what they know, and ask questions when they need help in classes.
- Wanting to support your student's learning? Here is the January Newsletter that has every class, every grade with standards, assessments, and upcoming assignments--all in one place.
- The back (north) parking lot is for staff parking ONLY. If you drop off in the mornings, please do NOT park in any spot. We rely on each spot for our staff.

CAMPUS INFORMATION
Make plans now to go out on a date or even consider volunteering while your student dances the night away on Friday, February 7th from 7-9pm in the MMS Cafeteria. "Glow Up The Night" is our Valentine's Day Dance theme and ALL students (grades 6th-8th) are invited to attend. This is a semi-formal event. Tickets will be $10 in advance and $15 at the door with concessions and glow accessories for sale at the dance. We will have dance competitions with prizes during the event. Last year we had over 800 students in attendance. More info to come.
From our MMS Counselors
Powerful parent one-liners can be a game-changer in how children respond, learn, and grow. These succinct statements provide clarity, set boundaries, and model emotional intelligence. By choosing words that affirm and guide, parents can shape more positive behaviors and deeper connections with their children.
